Senior Security Services Engineer (DevOps)

TL;DR

Senior Security Services Engineer (DevOps): Assisting customers with the implementation of hirify.global’s products and integration into existing pipeline and orchestration tooling with an accent on DevSecOps practices, automation, and cloud technologies. Focus on leading on-site and remote engagements, supporting technical escalations, and mentoring team members on consulting and development.

Location: Based in the United States with up to 25% nationwide travel required. US work authorization is required, as visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $101,000 – $149,000/year

What you will do

• Lead on-site and remote implementations and onboarding engagements with customers.
• Assist customers with developing, managing, and executing project plans and timelines.
• Assist customers with integration patterns with developer pipeline and orchestration tooling.
• Help maintain customer relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate in the ongoing development of training materials and curricula.
• Support the Security Services - DevSecOps team by assisting with technical escalations and customer save duties.

Requirements

• 7+ years of consulting experience within enterprise IT environments.
• Strong desire to drive success through mentorship and effective working relationships with customers.
• Proven ability to identify critical business problems and articulate solutions.
• Expertise in automating Machine Identity Management using Venafi Trust Protection Platforms (Datacenter, TLSPC & TLSPK).
• Strong expertise with scripting and APIs for automation using Bash, PowerShell, Go, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with modern containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Direct working experience with cloud technologies (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proficiency with orchestration and CI/CD technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Jenkins.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communications skills.

Nice to have

• Technical understanding of major cloud providers' use of machine identities, native capabilities, and multi/hybrid cloud architecture.
• Previous experience in a consultative, sales engineer, or enterprise architect role.
• Software development training and experience.
• Security certifications (CISSP, GIAC), cloud vendor certifications (CLF-02, Azure Administrator Associate), or industry-recognized DevOps certifications (RHCSA, CJE).
