What you will do

• Own technical agenda and drive complex technical initiatives within your domain.
• Act as a go-to person for deep tech expertise and set engineering excellence standards.
• Coach and mentor other engineers as a senior member of the Backend chapter.
• Play a major role in architectural decision-making for a platform used by millions.
• Design, improve, and secure the overall backend architecture for massive growth.
• Support teams in infrastructure management in a cloud environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in programming languages like GoLang, RoR, Java, Python, NodeJs, PHP, or .NET Core.
• Strong experience with common observability tools (Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).
• Proven experience building complex, high-quality applications with Domain Driven Design and microservice architecture.
• Expert in selecting best practice Design Patterns, Design Principles, and Algorithms.
• Strong knowledge of various databases (Postgresql, MySQL, NoSQL).
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS, and Terraform.
• Must be based On-Site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
