Location: This is a Full-Time position based in Ahmedabad, India, with hybrid work options (country-dependent).

What you will do

• Develop Java applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Hibernate for connected vehicle technologies.
• Design scalable microservice architecture for infotainment, telematics, and V2X/Car2x services.
• Implement design patterns and work with web technologies like REST and Feign clients.
• Implement and operate on Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Work in agile teams using methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Take responsibility for work from design, through implementation, and into operations.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in building Java applications using Java 8 (and above), Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• A vision to design scalable microservice architecture and prolific skill in implementing design patterns.
• Experience with web technologies such as REST and Feign clients, and a TDD approach.
• Sound knowledge in implementing and operating on Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Background and relevant current experience in a hands-on Platform Engineering role.
• Good command of English and willingness to work in a globally distributed team.

Nice to have

• Experience using monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Firsthand experience in Kafka and specifically MQTT.
• Experience with automation of software integration, testing, delivery, and deployment.
• Implementation experience of the environment on Cloud platform (AWS).
• Understanding of security techniques including Firewalls/Security Groups, Threat Modelling, and Dependency Management.
