We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to take ownership of real-time rendering, networking, and performance in a multiplayer browser-based game environment.

This role focuses on building and maintaining a high-performance 2D multiplayer game with real-time interactions, stable networking, and consistent 60 FPS across devices.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimise the core game loop to ensure stable 60 FPS under varying loads
• Design and implement two-way real-time socket communication (interpolation, reconciliation, fault tolerance)
• Build a modular UI and animation framework supporting dynamic layouts, multilingual bidirectional text, and multiple visual styles
• Develop custom profiling and asset-loading tools (memory usage, resource lifecycle, frame performance)
• Integrate and extend engine modules; research and adopt new APIs and third-party libraries
• Optimise mobile performance and ensure cross-device consistency
• Actively identify and prevent memory leaks
Key requirements:
• Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript and game development fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with WebGL or Canvas-based engines (Cocos, PixiJS, Phaser)
• Familiarity with Spine SDK
• Experience working on released 2D browser-based multiplayer games
• Deep understanding of GPU-accelerated rendering pipelines and shaders
• Strong expertise in real-time networking (latency handling, message sequencing, retries)
• Advanced knowledge of memory management, garbage collection, and performance profiling
• Ability to work autonomously: research, prototype, and implement solutions independently
• Languages: English – Intermediate+, Ukrainian and/or Russian – Upper-Intermediate
