Senior Software Engineer - Systems (Animation)

Senior Software Engineer (Animation): Responsible for systems engineering across a diverse set of systems that compose our next generation engine that powers hirify.global Dreams. Focus on solving complex and unique technical problems in a realtime and memory constrained environment, developing next generation software that pushes the hardware to its limits in low-latency, real-time systems.

Location: Must be on-site in our Hobart or Sydney office

What you will do

• Work closely with UI and rendering teams to deliver core functionality in hirify.global products.
• Solve complex and unique technical problems in a realtime and memory constrained environment.
• Develop next generation software that pushes the hardware to its limits in low-latency, real-time systems.

Requirements

• Firm understanding of systems programming in C/C++.
• Deep understanding of multi-threaded concurrency and parallelism approaches.
• Experience with CPU optimization and debugging.
• A strong track record of developing libraries used by teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SIMD.
• Competence in linear algebra and trigonometry.
• Experience in a relevant domain including animation, audio, video, storage, resource streaming, networking and distributed systems.
