What you will do
- Design, plan, and maintain low-latency network infrastructure across on-premise and multi-cloud environments.
- Optimize routing, peering, and data paths for ultra-low-latency communication.
- Monitor network performance and implement metrics, alerting, and telemetry for end-to-end visibility.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to manage connectivity, link deployment, and lifecycle.
- Contribute to automation of operational tasks, configuration management, and CI/CD integration.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and post-mortem analysis to continuously improve network reliability.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of IP networking, routing, BGP, multicast, RF, and fiber technologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking (AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Alibaba Cloud).
- Solid understanding of Linux networking stack, tuning, and performance optimization.
- Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, or NetBox.
- Familiarity with observability stacks like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and operational discipline in distributed environments.
- Advanced written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Proven experience in operating low-latency or high-performance networks, ideally in trading or finance.
- Experience with low-latency networking hardware, including Layer 1 switches and optical transport.
- Hands-on experience with RF-based networks.
- Development skills sufficient to create custom network diagnostic or monitoring tools.
