Mid-level Data Scientist (AI/ML): Designing and architecting AI/ML solutions for enterprise-wide product strategy, client experience, and global growth with an accent on clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and presenting insights to non-technical partners. Focus on understanding business objectives, driving data science initiatives, and applying advanced deep learning and generative AI techniques.

Location: This position is located in Vilnius, Lithuania and offers the opportunity for hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office. The candidate is expected to moderately align their schedule with US East Coast working hours (10 AM to 7 PM EET/EEST).

Salary: 3700 – 5000 Eur Gross

• Design, research, and architect AI/ML solutions across the enterprise.
• Establish and maintain clear communication, providing regular updates on project progress and insights.
• Present findings and insights to non-technical partners to encourage collaborative decision-making.
• Engage with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and communicate the value proposition of data science initiatives.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience working as a Data Scientist, ML/AI Engineer or in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or another technical field.
• Good understanding of the fundamentals of Statistics & Machine Learning (hypothesis testing, p-values, confidence intervals, regression, classification, optimization).
• Understanding of Deep Learning fundamentals (CNNs, RNNs, transformers and other types of Deep Neural Networks).
• Fluency in Python and SQL or other similar relational database management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Nice to have

• Work experience in a corporate environment or finance/fintech industry.
• Experience with GenAI (LLMs, RAG workflows, AI Agents, LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK or similar GenAI tools).
• Industry experience with Deep Learning models and methods (Deep Learning Life cycle – from Problem Definition to Model Evaluation and Monitoring).
