Senior Staff Analog Design Engineer: Designing and verifying highly sophisticated CMOS transceiver/SERDES products with an accent on PLL, DLL, ADC, and other analog circuits. Location: Onsite in Irvine, CA, USA. Applicants must be eligible to access export-controlled information as defined under applicable U.S. law, potentially requiring an export license review for non-U.S. citizens or permanent residents prior to employment.
Salary: $149,500 - $221,220 per annum

What you will do
- Design highly sophisticated CMOS transceiver/SERDES products.
- Implement and verify circuits like PLL, DLL, ADC, regulators, amplifiers, TX, RX, and CDRs.
- Ensure designs meet key performance targets.
- Perform design verification using industry-standard tools (Spectre, MATLAB).
- Evaluate prototype units to design specifications through lab testing.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in mixed-signal circuit design including ADCs, DACs, RX, TX, PLLs, Filters, Bandgap bias circuits, and regulators.
- Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in analog circuits.
- Strong knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies, low power, and high-speed design techniques.
- Proficiency with IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, Matlab, Hsim, Verilog.
- Completed a BS/MS/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of related professional experience.
- Ability to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations.
