Data Engineer

TL;DR

Data Engineer: Supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns by setting up, monitoring, and managing data, and assisting with data manipulation and analysis tasks with an accent on designing and maintaining data solutions. Focus on automating processes, extracting data using APIs, and ensuring effective campaign tracking.

Location: Based in our office in San José, Costa Rica. Expected to work from an office a minimum of 3 days a week.

What you will do

• Assist in creating basic segments using SQL for multi-channel campaigns.
• Support the automation of manual processes using SQL and Python.
• Help monitor campaigns to identify and report issues.
• Assist in analyzing documentation and extracting data using APIs.
• Collaborate with Marketing Sciences and development teams for campaign tracking and code deployment.
• Assist in campaign implementation and monitoring on platforms such as Adobe Campaign Classic, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Braze.

Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency (B2+).
• 2+ years of experience using SQL, Python, or working with APIs for data extraction.
• 2+ years of experience designing ETL solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies like Salesforce, Databricks, Azure, Snowflake, and AWS.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional reporting skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, SSJS, and personalization in campaign tools.

Nice to have

• Proven experience in campaign management on platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Platform, Pega, or Braze.
• Strong project management and customer relationship skills.
