Lead Systems Operations Engineer (Fintech): Delivering and supporting high-performance, low-latency trading systems for financial institutions worldwide with an accent on stability, resiliency, scalability, and performance. Focus on resolving sophisticated issues, optimizing operational health, and automating recovery processes in critical environments.
Location: This is a permanent full-time role based in Vilnius following a hybrid work model setup (at least 3 office days per week).
Salary: Monthly salary range 4000 - 5000 Eur gross.

What you will do
- Handle resolution of sophisticated issues, coordinating between technical teams and partners.
- Supervise operational health, analyze system trends, and optimize resilience and availability.
- Collaborate with market operations, client success, and technology teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
- Take ownership of updating and maintaining technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- At least 4–5 years of experience in application management, technical support, or a similar environment.
- Hands-on experience with Linux Operating Systems.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and cloud platforms, including basic networking, virtualization, and cloud deployment models (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with automation, scripting (Bash, Python, Ruby, SQL), CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
- Ability to work on weekends and off hours depending on business needs.
Nice to have
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cloud Technologies, Kubernetes, or Agile-related).
- Experience within global organizations, especially in banking, exchange, or technology sectors.
- Understanding of financial markets and trading concepts is an advantage.
