What you will do

• Safeguard and ensure the continuity of trading systems infrastructure.
• Monitor and optimize systems hosting a wide range of applications.
• Drive innovations, including new links between stock markets and the network.
• Maintain and improve existing network, infrastructure, and systems, including orchestration and automation.
• Manage infrastructures, develop contingency plans, and provide support to teams.
• Proactively identify opportunities to optimize performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in IT covering wide area networks, branch offices, cloud, multicast routing, security devices (firewalls), and wireless networks.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco & Arista technologies (L2/L3 switches and routers, firewalls, wireless).
• Experience with Unix/Linux command line and networking stack.
• Hands-on scripting experience (Python, Salt).
• Understanding of specific IT needs for low latency, high performance, redundancy, and high availability.

Nice to have

• Experience with electronic trading systems within capital markets or equivalent industry (APAC regional knowledge).
• Experience supporting environments with low latency networks, capture probes, and network latency management systems.
• Network related certification (e.g., CCNP).
• Knowledge in Cloud platform environments (AWS and GCP).
• Knowledge of Data Center and cabling standards.
• Understanding of Project Management methodology and best practices.
