Analyst - Economic & Statistical Research (Fintech): Provides highly quantitative, analytical expertise to support hirify.global's market and improve its structure with an accent on pricing changes, billing system verification, and analytical support for product stakeholders. Focus on analyzing large, complex data sets, discovering business opportunities, and creating new analytical models for ongoing insights.

Location: This position will be in Philadelphia, PA and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment with 3 days a week in-office, subject to change.

What you will do

• Analyze large, complex data sets and communicate results through visualizations, writing, and presentations.
• Discover business opportunities and threats, developing innovative responses.
• Handle challenging customer and regulatory inquiries, presenting results to management and stakeholders.
• Partner with product teams on various projects and products.
• Create new analytical models to power ongoing insights via BI tools.
• Continuously extend knowledge of the financial industry and share with colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical, quantitative or STEM field.
• Experience using SQL.
• Analytic programming experience (e.g., R, Python).
• Experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Quick Sight).
• Initiative-taking with evidence of intellectual curiosity and creativity.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in an analytical, quantitative, or STEM field and/or 1+ years of work experience.
• Experience with dbt and modern analytic packages (e.g., statistical and machine learning libraries, Spark).
• Well-organized with a history of working successfully independently and with a team.
• Able to complete multiple projects at once, responding productively to heavy workload and tight deadlines.
• Extremely effective communication skills, both spoken and written.
