What you will do

• Define project scope and requirements by collaborating with product managers, research analysts, and other engineers.
• Maintain, extend, and improve hirify.global’s suite of products.
• Write clean, well-tested, and production-ready Python code.
• Work alongside team leads to design and build excellent products.
• Develop REST APIs, data processing pipelines, and Python libraries.
• Deploy and monitor production systems, assisting with support.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Independent and self-driven learner, capable of stepping outside your area of expertise.
• Proficiency in Python, including asyncio, SQLAlchemy, FastAPI, Pydantic, NumPy, and Pandas.
• Experience with SQL, including performance tuning, schema design, and monitoring in production, primarily with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud (AWS) deployments and monitoring, basic networking, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with command line, git, automated testing, modern software development best practices, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD.

Nice to have

• Experience with transformer LLMs.
• Experience with financial data (equity securities).
• Experience with traditional ML/statistical models.
