Quality Coach (Fintech, Crypto)

TL;DR

Quality Coach (Fintech): Driving a culture of best-practice ATDD within the team and developing a deep understanding of IG’s trading products. Focus on writing acceptance test criteria and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Location: Hybrid position - 3 days onsite in Krakow, Poland, and 2 days remote work.

Salary: starting from 16 000 PLN. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's experience and competencies.

What you will do

• Write acceptance test criteria, from a product/functional perspective and also an operational monitoring & alerting perspective.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Advocate and embody modern engineering practices such as ATDD within the team.
• Collate Business Acceptance Test programs for new products and features.
• Mentor and support less experienced team members in ATDD practices.
• Perform exploratory testing and create and prioritise stories to close gaps.

Requirements

• Experience leading adoption of QA practices across engineering teams.
• Ability working hands-on with engineers – pairing, reviewing, and demonstrating quality techniques in real delivery context.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners and Engineers to build acceptance test criteria and test scenarios before code is written.
• Track record of enabling teams to become self-sufficient in quality practices.
• Strong background evaluating and implementing automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience measuring and communicating the impact of quality improvements through clear metrics.
• Strong English-language communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
