What you will do
- Design, prototype, and implement features and tools, ensuring stability and usability.
- Collaborate with Product Design, Product Management, and other engineering teams.
- Build and ship medium-sized features, managing task expectations.
- Debug and resolve medium-level bugs to maintain product quality.
- Review technical contributions, make recommendations, and suggest process improvements.
- Participate in on-call rotations, pairing, and team planning.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an engineer working in Golang.
- Professional experience developing with modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Experience with distributed systems on cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), focusing on scalability, resilience, and security.
- Experience in reviewing and refactoring code, and writing comprehensive tests.
- Cloud-native mindset and strong understanding of DevOps principles.
- Ability to work without current or future visa sponsorship in the US.
Nice to have
- Experience using hirify.global products (Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, Consul).
- Prior experience in cloud platform engineering teams.
- Emerging experience in mentoring team members.
