What you will do

• Design, prototype, and implement features and tools, ensuring stability and usability.
• Collaborate with Product Design, Product Management, and other engineering teams.
• Build and ship medium-sized features, managing task expectations.
• Debug and resolve medium-level bugs to maintain product quality.
• Review technical contributions, make recommendations, and suggest process improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations, pairing, and team planning.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an engineer working in Golang.
• Professional experience developing with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience with distributed systems on cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), focusing on scalability, resilience, and security.
• Experience in reviewing and refactoring code, and writing comprehensive tests.
• Cloud-native mindset and strong understanding of DevOps principles.
• Ability to work without current or future visa sponsorship in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience using hirify.global products (Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, Consul).
• Prior experience in cloud platform engineering teams.
• Emerging experience in mentoring team members.
