What you will do

• Design, prototype, and implement features and tools for Infrastructure Cloud offerings (Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, Consul).
• Act as a subject matter expert in Golang development, emphasizing quality and best practices.
• Execute large-scale projects, driving the end-to-end lifecycle from architecture design to implementation and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Product Design, Product Management, and internal/external stakeholders to align solutions with customer needs.
• Support reliable production environments, including participation in an on-call rotation.
• Advocate for strategic technical roadmap initiatives to enhance system effectiveness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an engineer.
• Professional experience developing with modern programming languages, with interest in Golang.
• Experience with distributed systems on cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), focusing on scalability, resilience, and security.
• Emerging ability to direct work and influence others, with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience using hirify.global products (Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, Consul).
• Prior experience working in cloud platform engineering teams.
