What you will do

• Design, prototype, and implement features and tools, ensuring stability and usability.
• Collaborate with Product Design, Product Management, and engineering teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert on quality development with an emphasis on Golang.
• Lead and execute large-scale projects, including architecture design, implementation, and issue resolution.
• Debug and resolve complex issues to improve product quality and stability.
• Mentor and guide software engineers, sharing technical knowledge and promoting best practices.

Requirements

• **2+ years of experience as an engineer**.
• Professional experience developing with modern programming languages, specifically **Golang and Ruby**.
• Experience working with **distributed systems on cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)**, focusing on scalability, resilience, and security.
• Demonstrated business acumen, customer focus, and adaptability in dynamic situations.
• Cloud-native mindset and solid understanding of DevOps principles.
• **Ability to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship.**

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools for robust observability (metrics, logging, tracing).
• Experience using hirify.global products (Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, Consul).
• Prior experience with usage-based billing.
• Prior experience working in cloud platform engineering teams.
