Security Architect

TL;DR

Security Architect: Designing and configuring enterprise information systems aligned with security standards and requirements with an accent on improving security posture, reviewing system security plans, and refining threat models. Focus on offering technical guidance to minimize security risks and overseeing cybersecurity initiatives.

Location: Remote (USA)

Salary: $125,000 - $180,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package.

What you will do

• Lead the planning, implementation, documentation, and testing of security systems.
• Develop security standards, policies, and procedures.
• Partner with business units to understand technology needs and to integrate security across various business use cases.
• Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and needs.
• Prepare security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Assist with ad-hoc operational tasks as required.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Threat Modeling and Security Architecture Design.
• Experience in Cloud Security in environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in assessing, designing, and securing AI systems and workflows as part of an enterprise security architecture.
• Knowledge of Network Security and API security.
• Knowledge and application of Cybersecurity Frameworks such as NIST, ISO, CIS.
• Experience with Vendor Risk Review.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related technology field.
• Specialty Security certifications issued by GIAC, CompTIA, ISACA, or (ISC).
