What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and document React-based cross-platform applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers to translate feature requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define architecture and ensure best practices.
• Write comprehensive unit and component tests to maintain product quality.
• Participate in peer reviews and contribute to evolving engineering standards.
• Explore innovative ideas and emerging technologies to drive future PlayStation experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of development experience building user-facing applications using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in React and related tools and libraries.
• Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining cross-platform applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to quality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a distributed team environment.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with modern build and testing tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Jest.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design principles.
• Interest or experience in applying AI/ML concepts to enhance user experiences.
• Experience integrating or experimenting with AI-powered development tools or APIs.
