Senior Frontend Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Frontend Engineer: Designs and develops software programs for enhancements and new products in the hirify.global Cloud Security, using modern programming practices and current technologies. Focus on quality, leading software development initiatives, and participating in design.

What you will do

• Implement designs using modern programming practices with a focus on quality.
• Lead/drive software development initiatives and participate in design processes.
• Develop software and tools in support of designs for enhancements and new products.
• Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs.
• Write code, complete development, and perform testing and debugging of applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS/LESS/SASS.
• 5+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience in object-oriented languages such as Java/C#.
• Strong understanding of a full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Must have a strong initiative and the ability to work both in a self-directed manner and as part of a team.
• Mentor software engineers on the team.

Nice to have

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or a directly related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with React and .NET/C#.
• Experience developing cloud-based applications for use in Public Cloud environments.
• Application development experience on Unix/Linux (Windows a plus).
• Strong understanding of design patterns and data structures.
