TL;DR

Strategic Finance Professional (AI): Driving financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for B2B products with an accent on strategic resource allocation and decision-quality insights. Focus on building 0→1 financial foundations, managing budgets, and influencing the financial trajectory of frontier AI products and initiatives.

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA (3 days in office per week). Relocation assistance available.

What you will do

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to B2B Product and GTM teams.
• Guide B2B financial planning across revenue, compute/gross margin, and opex for various planning cycles.
• Establish and manage key metrics to measure product performance, unit economics, sales productivity, and compute efficiency.
• Analyze trends and distill actionable insights to guide strategy and day-to-day execution.
• Build and scale FP&A rigor, including forecasting methodology and management reporting.
• Support strategic initiatives such as pricing, deal structuring, and business case development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, strategic finance, or buy-side investing coupled with operational experience at a fast-paced, scaling company.
• Strong ability to critically evaluate opportunities and risks in financials.
• Expert modeling skills, including building detailed P&Ls and operating models.
• Ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights and effectively influence leadership.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail in financial reporting.
• Familiarity with business models and metrics relevant to hirify.global.
