Release Management Engineer

TL;DR

Release Mgt. Engineer: Deploying software packages and creating tools and scripts for process automation with an accent on software consistency, remote software distribution, and remote support activities. Focus on creating analytics reports, adapting to operationally-specific scenarios, and providing feedback for improvements.

Location: Belgrade, Serbia. Availability for night shifts / shift rotation may be required

What you will do

• Build, test, and deploy software packages in accordance with release schedules.
• Perform remote software distribution and support activities, troubleshooting endpoint solutions.
• Create and maintain software packages, ensuring software consistency.
• Develop tools and automate manual processes using programming.
• Analyze logs to extract relevant details across different products and components.
• Create analytics and automated reports to extract necessary information from customer devices.

Requirements

• Elementary knowledge of command line basics.
• Excellent MS Office knowledge.
• Basic understanding of HW/SW networking.
• Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn rapidly, be proactive, and embrace change.
• Superior communication skills in both English and Serbian.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Batch, Visual Basic, etc.).
• Experience with software deployment tools (SCCM, CA, LanDesk, Ivanti, etc.).
• Familiarity with Linux OS and its command line.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Sciences.
