Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Senior Site Reliability Engineer: Supporting and managing AWS infrastructure and SaaS environments with an accent on reliability, performance, and automation. Focus on building automation to prevent reoccurrence of problems, implementing AWS best practices, and responding to production incidents.

Salary: $119,000 – $165,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Support hirify.global’s AWS infrastructure and software.
• Measure and manage reliability and performance of SaaS environments, and build automation.
• Utilize cloud configuration management, deployment, and compliance tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Helm, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Implement AWS best practices, cloud-based monitoring, alerting, and observability.
• Develop and continuously improve automation of manual processes.
• Respond to production incidents and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing AWS infrastructure.
• Minimum of 3 years in a senior, architect, or technical lead Site Reliability role.
• Advanced knowledge in Ansible automation, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
• Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform), CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting and automation expertise, using Python or an equivalent language.
• Proven track record of managing reliability and performance for large-scale, enterprise-level SaaS environments.
• Must be a US citizen living on US Soil.
• Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visa.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with FedRAMP or DOD compliance requirements and audits.
• Previous experience using or managing hirify.global SaaS products.
