Salary: $160,000–$230,000 per year

What you will do
- Prioritize the incorporation of AI into eDiscovery workflows to deliver better intelligence and reduce costs.
- Leverage legal technology and AI-driven tools to optimize eDiscovery workflows.
- Negotiate, design, and direct eDiscovery protocols in collaboration with outside counsel and internal stakeholders.
- Lead eDiscovery strategy in support of litigation, regulatory inquiries, government investigations, and internal investigations.
- Provide counsel and direction on best practices for data preservation, collection, review, and production.
- Collaborate with internal teams (IT, InfoSec, HR, Privacy) to ensure defensible and efficient eDiscovery practices.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
- 8+ years of relevant legal experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or government agency, with significant focus on eDiscovery and complex litigation.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and directing eDiscovery protocols.
- Strong knowledge of eDiscovery platforms (e.g., RelativityOne, Google Vault, Onna) and data management practices.
- Deep understanding of data privacy, information governance, and regulatory frameworks impacting global enterprises.
- Demonstrated ability to adopt and implement AI technologies in legal workflows to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Nice to have
- Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience in regulatory investigations, cybersecurity litigation, or technology-related disputes.
- Familiarity with international data transfer rules and global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
