Nonprofit Account Executive (AI): Driving adoption of safe, frontier AI by securing strategic partnerships with nonprofit organizations with an accent on consultative sales expertise and market expansion. Focus on pinpointing high-potential opportunities, navigating complex stakeholder ecosystems, and informing product roadmaps based on customer feedback.

Location: New York City, NY (hybrid). Office attendance is required at least 25% of the time. Visa sponsorship is available.

Salary: $222,800–$360,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

  • Win new business and drive revenue within nonprofit organizations by owning the full sales cycle.
  • Design and execute innovative sales strategies to exceed revenue quotas.
  • Spearhead market expansion by identifying new customer segments and use cases.
  • Navigate complex stakeholder ecosystems to build consensus and secure strategic deals.
  • Inform product roadmaps by gathering customer feedback and conveying market needs.
  • Refine sales methodology and build strategic relationships with nonprofit technology platforms and influencers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience prospecting and closing leads, driving adoption of emerging technologies with a consultative approach.
  • Familiarity with complex sales cycles, selling to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated history of exceeding quota in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present confidently across all customer levels.
  • Passion for emerging technologies like AI, with interest in safe and responsible development.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to or working with nonprofit organizations, foundations, or government agencies.
  • Understanding of nonprofit operations and technology ecosystems (CRMs like Salesforce NPSP, Blackbaud).
  • Active involvement in the nonprofit community.
