What you will do
- Design and build automation systems to provision, configure, and manage global networking infrastructure.
- Enable automated regional bootstrapping, teardown, and validation.
- Improve the safety, speed, and correctness of infrastructure changes.
- Lead technical initiatives to reduce manual operations and eliminate error-prone workflows.
- Balance reliability, security, and cost efficiency at global scale.
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the organization.
Requirements
- BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant engineering experience, with experience acting as a technical lead.
- Experience building large-scale distributed systems in a production environment.
- Strong programming skills in one or more of: Go, Rust, C++, Java.
- Familiarity with Cloud Networking (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, Proxies/Load Balancers (e.g. Envoy), DNS and traffic management, and Infrastructure automation tools (e.g. Terraform).
