What you will do
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive backbook risk framework covering delinquency, collections performance, hardship cases, and vulnerability indicators.
- Lead portfolio performance analytics and targeted risk mitigation, including monitoring trends and recommending interventions to improve customer outcomes.
- Drive cross-functional optimisation of risk capabilities by partnering with Credit, Product, Data Science, and Engineering.
- Build and own the analytical framework for collections and repayments, including dashboards, KPIs, forecasting models, and A/B experiment frameworks.
- Enhance international backbook oversight and strategic alignment, establishing cross-market KPIs and tailoring risk strategies.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years in credit risk, collections, or analytics in consumer lending.
- Experience in designing or optimising collections strategies and hardship programs.
- Very strong analytical background with proficiency in SQL, Python or other scripting languages.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret credit performance data and drive actions.
- Knowledge of credit reporting, affordability, and delinquency management practices.
- Strong understanding of Consumer Duty / CONC / NCCP, hardship regulations, or equivalent.
