Salary: $95,000–$129,000

What you will do

• Consistently break news and deliver scoops.
• Report and write at least four investigative stories monthly.
• Pitch, report, and write stories using data, open source tools, or visual investigations.
• Collaborate with the security desk and other journalists across WIRED.
• Work with audio, video, events, and social media teams to tell stories on various platforms.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a journalist with a track record of investigative data or OSINT reporting.
• Proven track record of scoops and the ability to consistently break news.
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage an evolving workload and prioritize.
• A clear, engaging, jargon-free writing style.
• Ability to work in-office 4 days/week in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA.
