What you will do

• Lead the vision and execution of brand-aligned design across digital and physical products.
• Design end-to-end native apps to power scientists.
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that translate user needs into clear interfaces.
• Develop a cohesive design system, including components, guidelines, and documentation for consistency and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to refine and implement designs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in digital product design, preferably in SaaS or data-intensive applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of work from research and wireframing to polished visual designs.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, and modern LLM-generated rapid prototypes.
• Deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility best practices.
• Extreme openness to leveraging the latest AI tools.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience in life sciences, biotech, or scientific research software.
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries or principles (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly).
• Basic front-end prototyping skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
• Prior involvement in building or scaling a design system.
