What you will do

• Advance experimentation methodologies by designing and implementing sequential testing and exploring Bayesian approaches to optimize traffic.
• Improve data and infrastructure by collaborating with platform engineering to integrate statistical models into the experimentation platform.
• Ensure experimentation data pipelines are reliable, scalable, and consumable for advanced statistical methods.
• Research and innovate by staying current on advancements in statistical testing and adaptive experimentation, proposing and testing innovative methodologies to improve experiment platform and decision quality.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in A/B testing and advanced experimentation.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge in Python, SQL, Hive, Tableau, Hadoop, product analytics (e.g. Google Analytics), Amazon AWS or GCP or Azure Platforms.
• Subject matter knowledge in statistics, analytics, data science, machine learning, deep learning, cloud, and full stack technologies.
• Hands-on experience analyzing large amounts of data to derive actionable insights.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to partner with technology, product strategy, and data office.

Nice to have

• Self-starter and autonomous; able to work with a distributed team and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership.
• Degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, operations research, economics, engineering, or information science.
• A strong portfolio of GitHub, Kaggle, IP contributions.
