What you will do

  • Collaborate with design, tech leads, and PMs to develop responsive emails, mobile ads, and banners.
  • Coach and support other Email Developers in improving their skills.
  • Ensure that implementation precisely matches design specifications, including syncing.
  • Create and customize JavaScript animations (basic to complex level) using libraries like Greensock.
  • Optimize HTML, CSS, and JS code to achieve maximum performance with minimum size.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility across all deliverables.

Requirements

  • Academic background: BSc in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of email-specific development experience.
  • Digital portfolio covering dynamic email samples is required.
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web standards.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and Sketch for manipulating assets.
  • Ability to work with IDEs like Sublime Text or Visual Studio Code.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to JavaScript frameworks and CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal, WordPress).
  • Hands-on QA experience utilizing Litmus or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with ad publishers (e.g., Salesforce, Engage).
  • Knowledge of pre-processed CSS styling (SASS, LESS).
  • Experience using repositories (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket).
