Location: This is a fully on-site position in our Cedar Falls, Iowa studio.

What you will do

• Ensure all software is functioning as intended with an exceptional level of detail and accuracy.
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases across new and existing game content, tools, and platforms.
• Document and track issues using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA) from discovery through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, artists, and product managers to identify potential quality risks early.
• Own the quality of your assigned areas—functionality, usability, and player experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in software or game testing.
• High attention to detail and accountability in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized, adaptable, and clear-headed during shifting priorities or deadlines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Xray, TestRail, etc.).
• Experience with mobile or web-based games or apps.
• Understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with risk assessment and test prioritization.
