What you will do
- Co-design architecture and funding flows to meet Visa/Mastercard rulebooks while maximizing interchange and incentive eligibility.
- Own the full life-cycle of card issuing launches from contract through scheme certification and hand-over.
- Master the issuing critical path, including chip-profile creation, token provisioning, and digital wallet integrations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to align partners and hit scheme and technical readiness gates on time.
- Police scheme compliance, locking down attestations and escalating blockers.
- Continuously review program compliance, running quarterly audits and tracking closure of gaps.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in program management, with at least 4 years focused on card issuing or payments.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programs in fintech or financial services.
- Deep knowledge of card issuing platforms, network rules (Visa/Mastercard), and payment flows.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, global, and cross-functional environment.
- Must be based in Malta or open to relocation (full relocation package provided).

- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
