TL;DR

Social Media Intern: Focus on real-time social media engagement and community management across key platforms. Accent on monitoring conversations, proactive participation, and customer de-escalation with a professional brand voice. Focus on understanding telco, VoIP, and developer discussions to shape brand perception.

Location: Hybrid, based in Castle Rock, CO. Expected to work in the Castle Rock office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with Tuesdays and Thursdays working from home. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Castle Rock.

Compensation: Unpaid.

What you will do

  • Actively monitor social media (LinkedIn, X, Reddit) for mentions, questions, and discussions.
  • Thoughtfully engage with relevant posts, threads, and comments to support brand presence and credibility.
  • Respond to frustrated or confused users with clarity, empathy, and accuracy, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Identify recurring themes, bugs, or confusion and surface insights to Support, Product, or Marketing teams.
  • Communicate in a professional, calm, and technically competent tone aligned with hirify.global standards.
  • Develop a strong understanding of telco, VoIP, and developer conversations happening in public forums.

Requirements

  • Clear communicator who can explain technical ideas simply and calmly.
  • Thick-skinned and composed when dealing with public criticism or angry users.
  • Chronically online—you understand how LinkedIn, X, and Reddit actually work.
  • Detail-oriented, avoiding misinformation and sloppy public responses.
  • Growth mindset—eager to learn telco products, support workflows, and brand communication.
  • Availability for 40 hours/week.

Nice to have

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s in communications, marketing, journalism, or similar.
  • Experience managing or moderating social media accounts or online communities.
  • Familiarity with SaaS, developer tools, or technical products.
