What you will do

• Architect high-performance data systems for semantic search and telemetry products.
• Implement and manage specialized data stores, including Vector Databases.
• Design low-latency, high-throughput gRPC/REST APIs for live gameplay features.
• Develop immutable logging and high-volume event ingestion pipelines for asset usage.
• Own infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/AWS) to ensure services scale automatically.
• Collaborate with Game Engine Engineers to optimize backend data structures for client-side consumption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building scalable backend systems with C#/.NET Core and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus) or High-Volume Event Streams (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
• Deep understanding of the AWS ecosystem (Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway) and Terraform.
• Proven ability to optimize queries, implement aggressive caching strategies, and meet strict latency budgets.
• Experience designing secure systems handling sensitive data, including encryption standards and secrets management.
• Must be able to work hybrid in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python for data processing or integration tasks.
• Background in the gaming industry or building backend services for mobile/live-service apps.
• Familiarity with Rights Management and SOC2 compliance or similar security frameworks.
