Senior Business Analyst (Fintech)

Senior Business Analyst (Fintech): Supporting enhancements to data and analytics platforms, dealing with large data volumes and providing real-time insights for informed investment decisions with an accent on gathering and documenting requirements, and managing Jira backlogs. Focus on collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment across business and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Location: Remote (Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Poland)

What you will do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements for ongoing application enhancements.
• Create clear, structured requirements documentation and user stories.
• Query and analyze data in relational databases (MS SQL).
• Work with product and engineering teams to review upcoming and backlog Jira tickets.
• Create and manage Jira tickets for new tasks and enhancements.
• Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning activities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a business analyst.
• Understanding of business processes.
• Financial services industry experience.
• Extensive experience in querying and analyzing data in relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Ability to translate business needs into software and operational requirements, document and analyze requirements, and propose possible solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
