What you will do

• Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for web applications, mobile, and backend services.
• Execute manual and automated tests for membership purchase, subscription lifecycle, billing, and account flows.
• Implement, maintain, and enhance test automation using Playwright, integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to debug and resolve complex issues.
• Take ownership of product quality for Membership features, driving testing initiatives and championing quality standards.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and methodologies for efficient, scalable, and robust testing, including exploring AI-assisted testing approaches.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and executing automated tests for complex web applications, ideally including commerce/checkout or subscription flows.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for web UI automation (required).
• Proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript for Playwright automation (required).
• Experience in Python (required).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.

Nice to have

• Experience with Playwright MCP, model-context-protocol integrations, or similar advanced automation approaches.
• Experience with Pytest or similar frameworks for API/service-level testing.
• Experience with mobile apps and in-app commerce.
• Experience using LLMs and AI-driven dev/test tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor).
