What you will do

• Set clear, pragmatic direction for quality and testing across teams.
• Shift quality left by integrating testing and risk early in design and implementation.
• Define testing balance across unit, integration, API, and end-to-end levels.
• Improve system testability and apply modern automation approaches.
• Make quality and testing debt visible to leadership for informed trade-offs.
• Set standards for non-functional risks like performance, reliability, and security.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience in QA or Quality Engineering, including test automation.
• Proven experience improving quality across multiple teams or complex systems.
• Strong understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
• Comfortable discussing risk, technical debt, and trade-offs with engineers and leadership.
• Ability to influence without formal authority or heavy process.
• Confidence working with high autonomy and ambiguity.
