What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers, providing technical leadership and career development for your reports.
• Identify best practices and tools to maximize the ability to build and maintain features and services.

• Collaborate with leadership across teams to define solutions and technical implementations.
• Own the overall planning, execution, and success of projects that directly improve business metrics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience for high-scale products or infrastructure.
• 3+ years of people management experience for a group of engineers.
• Experience building large-scale, high-performance systems in a complex, multi-tiered, distributed environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience managing engineering teams at startups, particularly during periods of rapid growth and organizational change.
• Experience driving engineering best practices for the full software development lifecycle.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
