Integration Engineer

What you will do

• Build and deploy integrations connecting hirify.global with customer ERP, procurement, and financial systems using iPaaS platforms.
• Develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, webhooks, and flat file-based integrations.
• Write and maintain integration scripts and custom connectors using Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Configure and manage secure file transfers and implement Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations.
• Monitor integration jobs, investigate failures, and resolve production issues with urgency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience building and supporting enterprise integrations.
• Strong proficiency with at least one iPaaS platform: Workato, MuleSoft Anypoint, Dell Boomi, Celigo, or SnapLogic.
• Solid programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java for production-quality code.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and consumption, including authentication methods.
• Working knowledge of SOAP web services and XML/XSLT transformations.
• Strong SQL skills for querying relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Strong troubleshooting mindset to dig into logs, trace data flows, and find root causes.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Finance and Procurement processes and exposure to enterprise systems like Workday, NetSuite, Coupa.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) like S3, Lambda, API Gateway.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB) and EDI standards (cXML, ANSI X12).
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and version control (Git).
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, CloudWatch) or message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Workato Automation Pro or MuleSoft Developer certification.
• Prior experience in a SaaS product company supporting customer integrations.
