Engineering Manager, Ecosystems (API): Leading and growing a high-performing engineering team to build and evolve platform capabilities and integrations with an accent on API design, microservices architecture, and secure multi-tenant services. Focus on empowering product engineering squads to ship integrated features efficiently and enabling developers to extend through our ecosystem.
Location: Remote - Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America, as does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time. If you are located in Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and West Virginia, you will not be eligible for employment.
Salary: $193,855 - $294,203 USD

What you will do
- Lead and grow a high‑performing engineering team.
- Guide the team through key architectural decisions across distributed systems, public APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns.
- Partner with Platform and product squads to ensure experiences are API‑first and ecosystem‑ready.
- Raise the bar on reliability, scalability, and performance, including SLIs/SLOs, observability, testing strategy, and incident readiness for the services you own.
- Lead and refine agile practices to help the team deliver predictably and sustainably.
- Provide feedback and guidance to help grow, scale, and evolve our operating model across the broader Engineering org.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing a team of Software Engineers in a SaaS or technology company.
- 8+ years of overall software development experience, including building and operating web‑scale services and APIs. Experience with technologies like TypeScript/Node, Go, Ruby on Rails, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred) is a strong plus.
- Experience designing and evolving public or partner‑facing APIs, webhooks, or integrations.
- Availability for participation in on‑call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business‑critical alerts outside of regular working hours.
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America, as does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time.
