What you will do

• Lead and mentor automation and QA teams, both on-site and in geographically distributed environments.
• Consult customers on test strategies, automation approaches, processes, and best practices.
• Apply AI-assisted approaches across the entire Test Life Cycle to drive efficiency and quality.
• Support pre-sales activities with QA & automation expertise, including customer presentations.
• Architect, design, implement, and evolve test automation frameworks for various applications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in testing processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on consulting experience in client projects covering end-to-end test automation, including several years in a senior, lead, or architect role.
• Strong experience in test management, test strategies, test planning, control, KPIs, and risk management.
• Hands-on experience in two or more programming languages (Java, C#, Python, Typescript/JavaScript).
• Proven experience with a broad range of test automation and test management tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Rest Assured, Postman, BDD tools, performance tools, low-/no-code tools, desktop UI tools).
• Experience in applying AI-assisted tools across the test lifecycle (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Testim, Mabl) is required.
• Experience with modern development and DevOps tooling (e.g., GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker) to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Business fluent in German and English.
