What you will do
- Build high-performance data pipelines and real-time streaming systems for online and offline ML features, training data, and statistical computation at scale.
- Design and scale robust data infrastructure for powering retrieval and ranking of various ads systems across hirify.global.
- Ensure data systems are reliable, observable, privacy-compliant, and performant under heavy concurrency and high throughput.
- Partner with ML and backend engineers to define scalable interfaces and enable rapid iteration for model development and experimentation.
- Partner with Data Platform and Data Infra teams to build high quality data processing workflows.
- Contribute to internal platforms and tools that abstract complexity and improve developer productivity.
- Act as a tech lead and mentor junior engineers, taking ownership of projects throughout their full lifecycle.
Requirements
- 7+ years of work experience building production-grade, scalable, and reliable data systems.
- Solid programming skills in Python and strong knowledge of SQL.
- Strong expertise in developing large-scale data pipelines (batch and streaming) and big-data processing technologies such as Spark, Apache Druid, Flink, Ray, or Kubeflow.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills; enjoy building systems that enable and accelerate team productivity.
- Data-driven focus for quality metrics and monitoring, approaching data as a product.
- B.S. equivalent in Computer Science or sufficient experience.

- Knowledge about advertising and the technology which powers it.
- Experience building data pipelines at TB+ scale.
- Experience leveraging AI tooling to build simplified, human-centric experiences for internal customers.
