What you will do
- Lead and develop a distributed team of DevOps engineers focused on mission-critical CICD automation.
- Align, guide, and empower engineers to automate and manage critical processes, and optimize CICD tools usage.
- Investigate and evaluate next-generation technologies to inform future roadmap goals.
- Drive continuous improvement in software delivery processes and automation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a build engineer or software engineer.
- 3+ years of engineering management experience in a large-scale environment.
- Experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Expertise with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) at scale.
- Experience with CICD automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, Go, PowerShell).
- Must periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint check(s) consistent with government customer requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience designing/implementing end-to-end workflows for software development lifecycle.
- Background in cybersecurity or security-focused software delivery.
- Experience optimizing CICD processes for large, scaling organizations.
