InfoSec Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

InfoSec Engineer (Fintech): Driving security engineering efforts and securing modern cloud & enterprise environments with an accent on threat monitoring, incident response, and security automation. Focus on architecting secure solutions, evaluating third-party security tools, and maintaining awareness of external threats.

Location: This role is ideally hybrid in Mexico City, but remote work from Mexico is also possible.

What you will do

• Monitor active threats, analyze them, and develop remediation plans.
• Monitor, audit, detect, and remediate critical security exposures in infrastructure.
• Respond to all security incidents and manage the end-to-end incident response lifecycle.
• Implement security, technical, and process improvements.
• Implement automation for security tasks such as audit, metrics collection, and reporting.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering teams to architect secure solutions.
• Evaluate, test, implement, and support third-party security tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working in the Security Engineering space.
• At least 2+ years of infrastructure experience.
• General AWS experience.
• Knowledge in any programming language (Python preferred).
• Experience with Threat/Intrusion Detection, Vulnerability Management, & remediation techniques.
• Experience with Security orchestration, automation, and response.
• Experience with enterprise access solutions like Okta, Onelogin, Ping Identity.
• Experience with endpoint zero trust and DLP solutions.

Nice to have

• Docker / Kubernetes experience.
• IaC experience.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
