What you will do

• Design and implement complex, multi-step automation using Python and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Build the connective tissue between Large Language Models (LLMs) and various data sources, APIs, and enterprise tools.
• Optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using Vector Databases.
• Profile and optimize Python code and AI prompts to reduce latency and manage token costs.
• Rapidly build POCs for new automation ideas and then independently "harden" them into production-grade services.
• Identify technical roadblocks in AI behavior (hallucinations, logic errors) and develop programmatic guardrails to solve them.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience focused on backend Python development, specifically integrating AI tools into workflows.
• Extensive experience building production APIs (FastAPI/Flask) with rigorous unit/integration testing (pytest) and clean code standards.
• Proficiency with Docker, Linux environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source LLMs (Llama/Mistral) and frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex for building stateful agents.
• Practical experience with Vector Databases (Pinecone, Milvus, ChromaDB) and programmatic prompt optimization.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and proven ability to deliver finished products from vague project goals.
