Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (AI): Building and scaling a cross-platform Electron desktop application with an accent on performance, reliability, seamless user experience, and native system-level integrations. Focus on designing, building, and maintaining core features, owning end-to-end implementation, and developing and integrating LLM-based functionality across TypeScript, Node.js, C++, and Swift.

Location: On-site 5 days a week in New York City or San Francisco. Must be based in or willing to relocate to NYC.

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain core features of an Electron desktop application.
• Own end-to-end implementation of user-facing and infrastructure features from UI to native modules.
• Develop and integrate LLM-based functionality.
• Collaborate on native code written in C++ (Windows) and Swift (macOS).
• Help make architectural decisions and contribute to the technical direction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a founder or engineer in a hyperspeed startup environment.
• Robust full-stack engineering background (Node.js, TypeScript, React, Electron, modern cloud platforms like Cloudflare, AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with native development, particularly C++ and Swift, including building and integrating low-level modules.
• Proficiency in building and productionizing AI/LLM-powered features using platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Azure, with strong prompt engineering skills.
• Deep understanding of system architecture and design patterns.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to NYC.
