Senior Backend Engineer (Cybersecurity): Designing and optimizing large-scale distributed backend services for a cybersecurity platform with an accent on cloud protocol design, network connection balancing, and datastream management. - Design proprietary Cloud Protocol and collaborate with Falcon Sensor teams for multiple platforms.
- Apply experience with large-scale distributed systems across various services (TLS negotiation, network balancing, virtual sessions, dynamic content, datastreams).

Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Ability to scale backend systems, including sharding, partitioning, and horizontal scaling.
- Ability to troubleshoot and pinpoint system failures across a pipeline of services.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges, multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies.
- Solid grounding in the technology of at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- English: B2 required.
- Work authorization for Canada required.
Nice to have
- Industry experience in implementing web servers and load balancers.
- Authored and led successful open source libraries and projects or contributed to open source communities.
- Existing exposure to Go, Scala, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch.
- Prior experience in the cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
