Salary: C$168,300 - C$227,700 (for IC3 level)

What you will do

• Build infrastructure capable of managing metadata for hundreds of billions of files and petabytes of user data.
• Lead the expansion of hirify.global's data-fabric, connecting applications, devices, and services globally.
• Measure and optimize hirify.global's analytics platform for extracting meaningful insights from vast data volumes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the performance, reliability, and security of infrastructure.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to cultivate continuous learning and professional growth.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance infrastructure.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record constructing and managing expansive, multi-threaded, geographically dispersed backend systems.
• Proficiency in programming and debugging across languages such as Python, Go, C/C++, or Java.
• Proficiency with operating system internals, filesystems, databases, networks, and compilers.
• Proven track record of defining and delivering well-scoped milestones/projects.
• Ability to independently define right solutions for ambiguous, open-ended problems.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Semaphores and Mutexes.
