What you will do
- Work closely with the CTO on tech and team strategy.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of software and hardware engineers.
- Drive architecture, design, and technical decisions, ensuring code quality and development best practices.
- Oversee project planning, estimation, and execution to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, Design, and DevOps.
- Act as a technical liaison between engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven track record in senior engineering leadership roles, managing multiple teams.
- Strong experience in people management, including setting goals, performance reviews, and mentorship.
- Strong practical experience with JavaScript and its ecosystem, including TypeScript, ReactJs, Redux, and Node.js, as well as understanding Postgresql, Redis, Kafka, Python, and C++.
- Extensive technical background, including experience with high-load architectures and big data systems.
- Deep understanding of software architecture principles and ability to resolve architectural challenges.
- Experience establishing and optimizing SDLC processes to drive engineering efficiency.
Nice to have
- Experience in the iGaming or Casino industry.
- Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and microservices.
